Prof.
Goddard received his BS ChE from UIUC in 1957
and his PhD ChE from UC,Berkeley in 1962. He joined
the chemical engineering
faculty of the University of Michigan in 1963 and in 1976
accepted
the position of Fluor Professor and Chair in the Department of Chemical
Engineering at USC, Los Angeles. He has been professor at
UCSD since 1991 and emeritus recalled to research since 2016.
