Dear Professor,

We have set up a WebCT course for MAE 5.
To access to your course, go to:

COURSE URL: http://webct.ucsd.edu
USERNAME: cgibson
PASSWORD: (existing password - see link below to reset)

Instructor Password
-------------------
WebCT uses your Active Directory password. This can be reset online at https://ucsd-exchange.ad.ucsd.edu/adpass/ . Active Directory is a campuswide authentication database used primarily be departments with Windows networks and Exchange e-mail. You may not have used your account before. If this is true, use the link above to reset your password.

Student Accounts
-----------------
Student accounts are added the first day of classes (late requests may take longer). Please make sure to pick up your Step 1 guides and add computing slips from AP&M 2113 (or send a TA). You can also call x44061 or acs-consult@ucsd.edu and ask that they be mailed to you. Every student should be given a WebCT Step 1 guide (online at http://iwdc.ucsd.edu/step1_webct4.pdf). Except for a few students, please instruct your students to use their e-mail username and password. Concurrent enrollment students are not added automatically and need to be given an add computing slip.

Late Adds
---------
Students that add the class late and need immediate access, should be given a blank account slip (these are half sheet of paper and provided by ACS). Otherwise, they will be added 24 hours after adding the course in StudentLink.
