1. The True BASIC Reference Manual by Kemeny and Kurtz
contains additional information about True BASIC.

2. Commands may be entered in either upper case or lower
case characters.

3. Either the MS-DOS operating system or the PC-DOS operating
system (both are often called DOS) is used by an IBM PC-
compatible computer.

4. Insert the operating system disk in drive A when starting
the system.

5. If requested, enter the current date in MM-DD-YY format.

6. If requested, enter the current time in HH:MM format.

7. Drive B is the current or selected drive when the prompt B>
is displayed on the screen.

8. The command HELLO starts the True BASIC system.

9. The command BYE exits the True BASIC system.

10. The prompt Ok is displayed by True BASIC when the system
is waiting for a command.

11. Double-click on the True BASIC icon to open True BASIC
on a Mac.

12. To exit True BASIC, select the Quit command from the File
pull-down command menu.

13. Always turn off a Mac by selecting the Shut Down command
from the Special pull-down command menu.
